We believe in one, holy, eternal God. This God has revealed Himself in many ways, but most clearly through the Written Word of the Holy Bible and in the person of Jesus Christ. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Hebrews 1:1-3; Colossians 1:15)

The Bible

We believe the Word of God as recorded in the Old and New Testaments is infallible, and is sufficient rule and guide for living a Christian life. (2 Timothy 3:16)

We believe that mankind is of sinful nature, separated from God by this sin, and in need of being reconciled to God. (Psalm 14:2-3; Isaiah 59:2; Romans 3:23-24)

We believe that Jesus Christ the Righteous is He who makes this reconciliation possible, and that there is no other way by which we can be made right with God. (2 Corinthians 5:18-19; 1 Timothy 2:5; John 14:6; Acts 4:12)

Salvation – God’s Offer

We believe in the necessity of each individual entering into a personal relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ; for although we are all God’s creations, it is only through this personal faith relationship that we can become children of God. (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 1:12)

Salvation – Our Response

We believe that our response to this free gift of salvation is to make Jesus Christ the Lord of our lives, following Him in all we do, reading His Word, and worshiping Him in order to become His disciples. (John 8:31-32; John 15:5; Romans 12:1-2)

The Holy Spirit

We believe that it is God’s Holy Spirit (Who is given to all believers) Who guides us into these truths – indeed into all truth – and Who comforts and empowers us for our ministry. (Acts 2:38-39; 1 Corinthians 2:12; 1 John 4:13; John 14:16-17; John 16:13; Ephesians 3:20; John 14:18-31)
